A stretch of the A9 is expected to be blocked for some time following a collision involving two HGVs.
Police received a call at 1pm about the incident on the Inverness to Thurso road, just south of Mybster.
The collision occurred near the Halsary Windfarm.

A force spokeswoman said an ambulance crew has attended but there are not thought to be any serious injuries.
It is not known if anyone was taken to hospital or treated at the scene.
“Due to the fact there are two large lorries involved, the road is expected to be blocked for some time”, she added.
A fire spokeswoman said three appliances from Thurso and Wick were sent, along with a heavy rescue unit.
She said crews made the scene safe.
One lane was reopened but the route has been fully closed again to allow the vehicles to be recovered.
A 37.3-mile diversion has been put in place.
