Thurso lifeboat launched earlier today to provide assistance to a broken down vessel off the Scrabster coast.
The crew were paged at 12.43pm by the coastguard, with the station’s Severn class all-weather lifeboat departing base to aid the stricken vessel and its crew.
The vessel was taken from its location, approximately six nautical miles west, north-west of Scrabster, into the harbour where they arrived at 2.52pm.
The lifeboat stood down shortly after.
