A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash in the Highlands.
The 43-year-old was travelling along Scotsburn Road near Tain when the incident occurred near the Quebec Bridge.
It happened on Saturday at 11.45pm.
He was taken to Raigmore Hospital with life threatening injuries.
Sergeant Ewan Calder, of the road policing unit based at Fort William, said: “We’re appealing to anyone who might have seen a red Volkswagen Golf with the registration YE02 HDK shortly before the incident or has any information about this to contact us.”
