The Feelgood Feed: Tesco delivery driver re-imagines Proclaimers’ classic to put smile on customers’ faces

Things are tough right now — but the power of community has never been more important or more obvious.

In every walk of life, people are coming together to ensure that no one is left to fight coronavirus alone. From neighbours helping each other with simple everyday tasks, right up to the heroes of our NHS on the front line of the fight, we’re standing together to try to help.

The Feelgood Feed is here to celebrate this community spirit.

Featuring stories from the Press & Journal, Evening Express, The Evening Telegraph, Courier and Sunday Post, we’ll be sharing the most heartwarming, inspirational and even funny ways that people in our part of the world and beyond are helping each other out.

Today digital reporter Gregor Aiken speaks to Liam Christie, a Tesco delivery driver from Thurso, who is brightening up customers’ days with his rendition of The Proclaimers’ song, I’m On My Way.

In the video, Mr Christie changes the lyrics and sings about bringing happiness with messages, stocking up your cupboards and his guarantee of toilet roll to your door.

It has already been viewed more than 8,500 times.

The all new delivery song in a Proclaimers Stylieeee! I'm On My Way – sing along… I'm on my way with your messages…
