The man was cycling in the area of Flowerdale Glen in Gairloch when he fell off his bike injuring himself. HM Coastguard received the distress call at 2.10pm appealing for assistance to airlift the man to hospital. The Stornoway coastguard helicopter Rescue 948 was deployed to the area before airlifting the casualty to Raigmore Hospital. His condition remains unknown.
