An annual fundraising event on Lewis will go virtual this year.
Runners are still being urged to take part in the 5K or 10K event to raise money for The Leanne Fund, although individually rather than as a collective group.
Organisers are urging runners and walkers to respect social distancing while raising vital funds for people affected by cystic fibrosis.
And they hope that since it is now a virtual event, people from across Scotland will take part – not just those in Point.
Chrisetta Mitchell, development manager of The Leanne Fund, said: “Obviously this year a group event will not be possible, so we have adapted our event into a virtual one.
“Anyone can take part in a socially distanced 5K or 10K any time between 9am on Monday June 1 and 5pm on Saturday June 6.
“Walkers are also welcome to complete the 5k but the 10K is strictly for runners over 18.
“As always we hugely encourage rainbow-themed fancy dress.”
All participants are asked to submit photos of their run or walk to The Leanne Fund Facebook page or by e-mailing info@theleannefund.co.uk
The charity was set up in memory of Leanne Mitchell, who died in 2009, aged just 21.
It has expanded to provide social, practical, emotional and financial support to people with cystic fibrosis across the Highlands, Grampian and Tayside. To enter, visit www.entrycentral.com/TLFvirtual5K10K
