A renowned Gaelic singer and musician has launched a new album to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Calum Martin has pledged all proceeds from the sales of the Stoirm album under the band name O.L.C.O.T.E will go towards the cancer charity’s Isle of Lewis Fundraising Group.
Mr Martin has collaborated with artists from as far afield as the USA for the album, which is dedicated to his mother Catherine, who died last year.
The album comes after Mr Martin performed at a charity concert last year to raise funds for Macmillan.
Mr Martin said: “After the concert last year, I thought it would be a great idea to raise more funds by recording an album.
“I asked a few musical pals along with members of my own family to help out and of course, they were delighted to take part.
“It has just grown arms and legs.
“Some of my favourite singers and musicians have contributed, along with amazing new talent which I always love to encourage.
“The album is fantastic and has something for everyone.”
The album can be streamed through Apple Music and Spotify, or physical copies can be bought at www.macmillan-org.charitycheckout.co.uk/isleoflewis/profile
A minimum donation of £10 is requested.
