Four appliances were called to the scene in Kyleakin Woods at 12.38pm to help extinguish a plantation fire that is 250m by 200m. Fire crews are attending a fire in Skye They are still on scene battling the blaze. A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesman said: “We are in attendance at a fire on the Isle of Skye and have four appliances on scene.”
