A man has been taken to hospital after an incident in a Highland town.
Emergency services were called to an address in Wick at around 9.30pm on Saturday.
A 61-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the event, while a 50-year-old man has been taken to Caithness General Hospital.
A police spokesman said: “About 9.30pm on Saturday, June 13, emergency services were called to a property on Barrogill Street, Wick regarding a disturbance.
“A 50-year-old man was taken to Caithness General Hospital and is currently receiving medical treatment. A 61-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and inquiries are ongoing.”
The condition of the 50-year-old man is currently unknown.
