A section of the A82 remained blocked for a short period this afternoon following a three-vehicle collision.
Emergency services raced to the scene near Kilvean, six miles south of Inverness, following a collision involving two cars and a pick-up truck.
The section of the Inverness to Fort William carriageway remained blocked for around 90 minutes as firefighters used hydraulic cutting gear to remove a door from one of the vehicles.
No-one is believed to have been seriously injured in the collision which occurred shortly after 1pm.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Police were called around 1.05pm on Friday, 19, June 2020, following the report of a three vehicle road crash involving two cars and a pick-up truck on the A82 near Kilvean, just south of Inverness.
“The road was partially blocked for around 90 minutes and there does not appear to be any serious injuries.”
Firefighters, paramedics and police were dispatched to the scene following initial reports of the collision.
Two fire crews from Inverness were dispatched to the scene at 1.04pm.
Crews used hydraulic cutting gear on the wreckage before leaving the scene around 2pm.
