A vessel had to be towed to safety after suffering mechanical problems off Uist.
The fault was reported to the coastguard at 4.46am and an RNLI and coastguard team were sent out.
The Barra lifeboat and the Ievoli Black tug were also on standby to provide assistance.
The hampered vessel was taken under tow by a sister boat arriving in Lochmaddy shortly after midday.
Repairs will now be undertaken to ensure the boat is seaworthy again.
