An MSP has welcomed the reinstatement of electronic warning signs at a notorious road junction in the Black Isle.
A connection on electronic signage at Munlochy was due to be fixed in April but was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Highlands and Islands MSP Rhoda Grant has now been told by the Scottish Government the work has been carried out following easing of lockdown restrictions.
Mrs Grant, who raised concerns from residents about the safety of the junction, said: “I am pleased the electronic warning signage is now fully operational and will play a part in improving safety at the junction.
She said further work is needed as traffic travelling north still has to pass over a busy dual carriageway when entering or leaving the A9 at the junction.
