The public are being invited to Glencoe next month to learn about the healing properties of local plants.
The hands-on event will take place at the National Trust for Scotland’s Glencoe visitor centre between 10.30am and 4.30pm on Sunday, June 8.
Under the guidance of expert herbalists, participants will learn how to identify wild herbs, pick them and mix them them in to medicines, as well as learn about their place in healthcare over the years.
Ranger Lindsay McKerral, said: “Flora with healing properties can be found all over Glencoe. We hope visitors enjoy the chance to learn about the many interesting properties of plants.”
