A call was received at 1.49am by Stornoway Coastguard Operations Centre with the Oban crew sent to Craignure at the request of the NHS. The patient was taken on board the lifeboat and transported to Oban before being handed into the care of the ambulance service. The lifeboat crew stood down shortly after and were refuelled and ready for service again at 3.30am. The patient’s condition is unknown.
