Several cars damaged during daylight vandalism attack in Highland town

Police officers are investigating into the vandalism of numerous cars in Alness.

The incident happened yesterday afternoon around 4pm in the High Street area of the town.

It has been reported that windscreens were smashed as part of the attack.

A police spokesman said: “Around 4pm on Friday, we received reports of vandalism against several cars at a premises on the High Street in Alness.

“Inquiries into the incident are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.”
