A motorcyclist has been left seriously injured following a crash near Dulnain Bridge this afternoon.
The incident occurred around 1.15pm on the junction where the A95 Aviemore to Boyndie route meets the A938 Carrbridge to Dulnain Bridge road.
Police have said the motorcyclist, a 61-year-old man, has been taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
A force spokesman said: “We received a report of a one-vehicle crash involving a motorbike on the junction of the A95 and A938 around 1.15pm on Monday August 10, 2020.
“The motorcyclist, a 61-year-old man, has been taken to hospital with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.”
As a result of the crash, the road was closed to allow emergency services to attend, however has since reopened.
Two fire crews were also sent to the incident.
Firefighters from Aviemore and Kingussie attended with small tools in use to make the scene safe.
A stop message was relayed back to the control room shortly after 2.20pm before the road reopened at 3pm.
