One of the world’s largest privately-owned superyachts has been spotted moored off Chanonry Point in the Highlands.
The £150 million Le Grand Bleu, owned by Russian-American oil tycoon Eugene Shvidler, has been spotted in the Moray Firth by eagle-eyed locals.
The incredible craft previously belonged to his friend and Chelsea Football Club owner Roman Abramovich.
The yacht, built by Bremer Vulkan in Germany in 2000, has visited the area previously.
In 2009 it was established that due to the height of the craft it could travel no further up the firth than Chanonry as it is too large to pass safely under the Kessock Bridge.
The luxury vessel, which has a crew of 35, carries a 55ft sailing boat and a 50ft cruiser.
There is also a helipad and swim platform on board.
