An appeal was launched on Sunday in a bid to trace Mr Spark after he had been reported missing in the morning. Police have said formal identification of the body is still to take place, however, Mr Spark’s family have been informed. The discovery was made around 9pm on Sunday evening. Officers have said the death is not being treated as suspicious. A spokesman said: “Police Scotland can confirm that the body of a man was found near Culbin woods in Nairn around 9pm on Sunday August 9. “The family of missing man Reece Spark, who had been missing since the morning of Sunday August 9, have been made aware of the discovery “Formal identification is yet to take place and a post mortem will carried out in due course to establish the exact cause of death. “The death is not being treated as suspicious.”
