A woman remains in a critical condition in hospital following a car crash in Argyll which left her with serious head injuries.
The 39-year-old was driving a Ford Ka when she was involved in head-on collision on the A85 Oban to Perth road at Dunbeg at 2.05pm on Friday.
A police spokeswoman said: “The 39-year-old woman driver of the Ford Ka sustained serious head injuries and was taken to the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow where she is presently detained. Hospital staff describe her condition as critical.
“The 66-year-old woman driver of the Fiat 500 motor car sustained minor injuries and did not require medical attention.”
Constable Stuart Campbell, of the divisional road policing unit at Oban, is appealing for witnesses to contact him at Oban police office on the non emergency number 101.
