A rider was airlifted to hospital on Lewis at the weekend after falling from a horse.
The 28-year-old woman was injured after the accident at Lower Bayble on Point near Stornoway.
The Stornoway Coastguard search and rescue helicopter was launched at 10.54am on Saturday and took the conscious rider to the Western Isles Hospital at Stornoway. Her condition is unknown.
Meanwhile a 71-year-old woman was aided by police and coastguards after falling in the wooded grounds of the Viewfield House Hotel near Portree on Skye on Saturday. She was taken by ambulance to the Dr MacKinnon Memorial Hospital at Broadford on the island. Her condition is also unknown.
