A crewman aboard a North Sea platform required evacuation in the small hours of this morning after falling unwell.
Coastguard search and rescue helicopter Rescue 900, based in Sumburgh, was tasked to the incident at 4am on a platform located 62-nautical-miles to the north west of the Shetland village.
The crewman was taken aboard the aircraft before being transferred to the Clickimin Landing Site in Lerwick and passed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service for onward medical care.
Lerwick coastguard rescue team were also tasked to man the landing site prior to the arrival of the helicopter.
The condition of the crewman is currently unknown.
The incident concluded around 6.30am.
