A cyclist had to take evasive action to avoid a collision after a motorist drove into their path in a Highland town.
The woman was outside the Bank of Scotland in High Street, Alness, and travelling west towards the Averon Bridge when the light-coloured Audi estate car began moving in the same direction.
A police spokesman said the cyclist was “forced to take evasive action to avoid hitting the vehicle” and fell to the ground, seriously injuring her arm.
The incident happened at 10.40am on August 24.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101.
