Stornoway based Rescue 948 has been tasked to the beauty spot north of Lochinver to assist in efforts, which are being coordinated by Police Scotland. Local coastguard rescue teams are also assisting after the person was reported missing around 12.50am. The helicopter has been tasked for the second time today after earlier being alerted to the false activation of a distress beacon off Barra. More as we get it.
