Emergency services were called to the property in Watten, on the road between Wick and Thurso, on Sunday. Police Scotland said William Dodd, 61, died as a result of the blaze. “The death is not believed to be suspicious at this time and a report has been submitted to Procurator Fiscal,” said a spokesman. The alarm was raised at about 7.43am but when crews arrived the blaze had burnt out. Two fire crews from Wick were called to the incident.
