A man has been taken to hospital following a crash involving a pick-up truck on a Highland road.
The one-vehicle crash happened on the A837 Invershin to Lochinver road, near the A894 junction to Scourie, just before 8am.
Police, ambulance and two fire crews from Scourie and Ullapool attended.
Firefighters used electric saws to free the occupant and stabilised the vehicle.
The road was closed for around two and a half hours, before reopening at 11.40am.
A spokeswoman for the fire service said: “We got the call at 7.54am, and we had two appliances on the scene – one from Scourie and another from Ullapool.
“One pick-up truck was involved. Crews had some electric saws and stabilisation in use there.
“They left the scene at around 9.30am.”
A police spokesman said: “Police received a report of a one-car road traffic crash on the A837 outside of Lochinver around 7.50am on Friday, 9 October, 2020.
“Emergency services are in attendance and the road is closed between Lochinver and A894 junction.”
