Two people have been cut free from a vehicle on a major Highland road.
A section of the A82 between Invermoriston and Drumnadrochit has been closed near Urquhart Castle following the collision at 3.15pm.
Traffic Scotland said it may be shut “for some time”.
The fire service used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof from the vehicle to free two people. They are now in the care of the ambulance service.
** UPDATE **⌚️20:05
Due to the closure of the #A82 at Drumnadrochit, a lengthy diversion is in place of 120 miles, via the #A9 from Inverness, onto the #A86 at Kingussie to Spean Bridge and back onto the #A82. And vice versa for northbound traffic.#PlanAhead@NWTrunkRoads
