Police attended a one vehicle crash on a north-east road.
A man has been taken to hospital following a late night incident at a house in Oban.
Witnesses said that up to four men attended the home in Rhuvaal Road, behind Lorn and Islands Hospital, in the early hours of this morning.
A police vehicle remained parked outside the house overnight. Later this morning police CID and forensics officers were at the scene.
A police spokesman said: “We received a report around 1.40am on Friday October 23 of a disturbance at a property on Rhuvaal Road in Oban.
“A man suffered a facial injury during the incident which has required hospital treatment.
“Officers are following a positive line of inquiry. Anyone with information about the incident can call 101, quoting incident 0229 of Friday October 23.”
