Police are appealing for the help of the public in an effort to trace a vulnerable teenager in Oban.
Jeannie McCrae, 15, from Oban, was last seen around 7pm on Monday. She was due to return home at 8pm.
Police were contacted when she failed to return.
Jeannie is described as 5ft 4in tall with shoulder length dyed dark purple hair, with a medium build.
When she was last seen, Jeannie was wearing black trousers, a white top and black and white baseball style boots.
Inspector Julie McLeish, from Oban Police Office, said: “Extensive inquiries have taken place since Jeannie was reported missing on Monday night, however we have not been able to trace her, and we are now growing increasingly concerned for her wellbeing.
“I would urge anyone who has seen Jeannie or has any knowledge of her whereabouts to contact officers at Oban Police Office as a matter of urgency on 101.”
