Highland airports are set for a revamp as operators reveal plans to promote Gaelic.
Highlands and Islands Airports (HIAL) are the latest public body to produce a Gaelic language plan in line with SCottish Government policy.
Proposals include the creation of a bilingual HIAL logo, increased use of Gaelic in airport signage, terminal information screens and online, Gaelic awareness training for front-line staff, and the appointment of Gaelic language ambassadors.
The plan has been produced following an extensive consultation with staff and stakeholders and has been approved by national Gaelic agency Bord na Gaidhlig.
The changes will affect Inverness Airport and 10 other airfields around the Highlands and islands.
