Police are working to formally identify the body which was found in the water near Neave Island. It followed a search by local coastguards and the Stornoway coastguard helicopter on Tuesday morning. Cumbria Constabulary said the family of a man reported missing in the north of Scotland are being comforted while identification takes place. Christopher Strange, 59, was last seen at his home near Kendal on the morning of June 23.
