Three people were cut free from the wreckage of their car after a collision with a tractor in the Highlands.
The man driving the car suffered face injuries and was flown by air ambulance to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.
Police said his injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
The 18-year-old woman in the front passenger seat and a 15-year-old boy who was in the rear suffered minor injuries and were removed by road ambulance to Caithness General Hospital in Wick.
The crash happened on the A99 Wick to Latheron road in Caithness just after 7.30pm last night, blocking the trunk road..
Police said the tractor towing a trailer or farm implement and the car involved, were both heading north.
Fire units from Wick, Lybster and Dunbeath attended and crews had to first use stabilising gear on the tractor before cutting free the three occupants of the car.
A hosereel jet was also deployed as a precaution against fire while the cutting operation was going on.
Diversions were set up locally until the road reopened at 9.45pm.
