Specialist crews in Inverness were scrambled to a chemical incident in the area tonight.
Four appliances were sent to the scene in the Brora area shortly before 7pm.
They were from Golspie, Helmsdale, Invergordon and Inverness with additional specialist support vehicles also called from Inverness.
No-one was injured in the incident, which was resolved by 11.15pm.
A fire spokesman said: “At 18:54 Inverness Control received a call to the Brora area for assistance in dealing with a chemical incident.
“The Fire and Rescue Service are presently on scene with appliances from Goslpey, Helmsdale, Invergordon, Inverness, and additonal specialist support vessels from Inverness as well.
“In addition a specialist hazmat officer is providing support to the incident commander at the scene.”
