A female driver had to be cut free from her car this afternoon after her car came off the road at a Highland accident blackspot.
The accident involving a Renault Clio was on the A939 Grantown to Nairn road, about five miles north of the Speyside town.
Two fire units, from Grantown and Carrbridge, went to the scene after the 999 call was received at 4.14pm.
The accident took place as the woman was driving north on the section of road known locally as the “Jesus saves bends,” as they are about half a mile south of the “Jesus Saves rock” a large boulder with “Jesus Saves” painted on it.
A spokeswoman for fire service said: “One female driver was involved and cutting gear has been used.”
However the woman is not thought to be seriously injured.
