The incident happened in the MacDonald Hardware car park in the town at 11.30am. She was hit by a vehicle which failed to stop, say police, who have appealed for witnesses. The woman suffered a wrist injury and was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. Police say that the vehicle involved was a dark coloured people carrier or 4×4. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
