Police have issued an appeal after a quantity of live lobsters were stolen from a Highland harbour over the weekend.
Lobster keepers belonging to moored vessels at Wick Harbour were raided between Friday July 25 and Sunday July 27.
A police spokeswoman said: “A number of local Wick fishing boats have had their lobster keepers, which were stored within Wick Harbour, tampered with and the contents stolen.
“It is suspected that a vehicle may have been involved and police would be interested in hearing from anyone with any information or knowledge of the incident or of any vehicles seen acting suspiciously around Wick harbour between the specified dates.”
Anyone with information should call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
