The incident happened at Onich at 7.43am. A police spokesman said that the wheel of a southbound a low loader became unfastened and struck a vehicle heading in the same direction. He said that the wheel then bounced and struck a vehicle in the northbound carriageway. However the spokesman said that the five people in the vehicles were unhurt. Both vehicles were extensively damaged. Firefighters from Kinlochleven were called to the scene but were not required to take any action. An ambulance also attended but a spokeswoman for the service said that they did not need to take anyone to hospital. The road was closed for more than an hour while emergency services dealt with the incident and cleared the road.
