Fort Con is to be held at the Nevis Centre and other venues in the Fort William area
Pipers from around the world will converge on Fort William at the weekend for the Lochaber Gathering Festival of Piping.
The event – which will be held in the Nevis Centre on Saturday – will run throughout the day from 9.15am.
A spokesman for the organisers said: “Bagpipers from all around the globe will make the journey to Lochaber to compete for some of the top prizes in piping.
“In addition to a day of competitions for both junior and senior players, this year’s lecture, provided by the College of Piping Principal Robert Wallace, looks at the life and music of John MacLellan, Dunoon.”
