Flooding has blocked the A838 in Durness as the weather conditions caused havoc across Scotland’s roads this morning.
The road is blocked to all vehicles near the School Road junction in Durness.
Surface water on Longman Roundabout in Inverness has left the A82 ‘just passable’ – drivers should approach with care.
Flooding means that the A835 is just passable in both directions between the A893 Shore Street junction in Ullapool and the A832 junction in Braemore.
Earlier the A86 road was blocked in both directions at the Strathmashie House junction, because of an earlier fallen tree – although that has since been cleared.
And the A9 Dornoch Bridge is closed to high sided vehicles between the A949 junction in Dornoch and the A836 junction in Tarlogie, because of strong winds. Approach with care.
More updates to follow for weather related road closures in the Highlands.
