The body of Charlotte Hornby, 24, was found in a burn at the bottom of an embankment near Ness Islands, just a few hundred yards from her family’s flat in Dores Road.
Two divers arrived at the Island Bank Road scene earlier today. They put on their wetsuits before descending the embankment and slowly navigating the burn.
After about an hour of searching, the divers returned to their vehicle.
A police officer was seen carrying a brown paper evidence bag to a police van parked on Island Bank Road.
A fingertip search team was also involved in the operation, as the area is thick with plants, trees and bushes.
Tributes to Charlotte have been made on Island Bank Road.
