A woman in her 60s was taken off Ben Nevis by Lochaber Mountain Rescue team after hurting her leg.
They were called out on Tuesday, just after 11am, after being alerted that the woman walker had fallen, and completed the rescue operation by 2.15pm.
Rescue team leader John Stevenson said yesterday: “The lady was around 1,640ft up the track and it took us around half-an-hour from the bottom of the track to reach her on foot.
“She was carried down by stretcher and taken initially to Achintee, where the team was met by an ambulance, and the lady was transferred to Belford Hospital in Fort William.”
