William Allan, known as Bruce, aged 40, was discovered at Holborn Head by a member of the public on the evening of August 9. He is survived by his three children Scott, Payge, and Chase, brother Donald, and sister Lynda. His funeral is in St Peter’s and St Andrew’s Church of Scotland, Thurso, at 1.30pm, then to Thurso Cemetery. Mr Allan’s relatives have requested family flowers only, with donations in lieu, at the church, to the local branch of the RNLI.
