A woman escaped injury when her car left the road and became submerged in a Highland river.
The driver, who is in her 50s, was travelling on the A835 Ullapool-Ledmore road when the accident happened at Elphin, near the Ledmore junction at 4.30pm on Wednesday.
She managed to escape and made a 999 call.
Police and an ambulance crew went to the scene, however she was not injured.
A police spokesman said: “The car had left the road which resulted in the vehicle ending up in water and becoming submerged.
“The driver, who was a woman in her 50s, was able to vacate the vehicle and was reported as uninjured by ambulance crews attending.”
