The Flying Dutchman had 22 passengers on board when it grounded on rocks about 2.30pm. All visitors on the ship – who had a trip booked at Oban distillery – were taken ashore by a diving vessel which was in the area. The four crew remained on board, and no-one was injured. A spokeswoman for Stornoway Coastguard said the vessel had suffered no “apparent damage”, and that it had been taken into Oban harbour. A survey for damage will have to take place before she can leave port.
