History meets modern technology as Culloden Battlefield stages a series of Homecoming 2014 events this weekend.
A section of a once proud Nimrod marine search and attack aircraft as stationed at former RAF Kinloss before they were controversially scrapped, will take pride of place among a vast range of exhibits at the iconic site near Inverness tomorrow and Sunday.
The display has been arranged in conjunction with project partners Morayvia, created to preserve Moray’s rich aerospace heritage.
Other attractions over the two days include performances which celebrate Highland culture, such as local choirs, dancers, shinty players and pipers.
