She was freed from her vehicle by firefighters after the incident on the A832 Garve to Achnasheen road at Achanalt at around 2.10pm. Crews from Dingwall and Kinlochewe attended the scene and used cutters and spreaders to release the woman. She was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness, with minor injuries. It is understood that the driver of the other vehicle was unhurt. The road remains closed, with northbound traffic being diverted via the A835 Tore to Ullapool road and via the A832 Braemore-Gairloch road. Southbound traffic is being advised to use the A82 Inverness-Fort William road, the A887 Invermoriston-Bun Loyne road and the A87 road to Kyle.
