A rescue helicopter has ]called to the Black Isle to assist a woman who has fallen and injured herself.
At around 1.20pm, the coastguard received reports that a woman, believed to be 50, had fallen and injured her head, hip and ankle while out walking on a beach just north of Rosemarkie.
Invergordon lifeboat are currently helping the woman, while Stornoway Coastguard’s helicopter is on its way to the scene.
Paramedics will assess the woman’s condition and, from there, decide whether she should be taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness or if her condition is more serious, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
