A multi-award winning wildlife cameraman will tour the Highlands and Islands this autumn.
Doug Allan will host an evening of enthralling personal recollections from his world travels, including the time he was drugged underwater by a hungry walrus and poked in his sleep by a polar bear.
Mr Allan is well known for his photography and camerawork on successful BBC series such as Life, Human Planet, Blue Planet, Planet Earth and the recently acclaimed Frozen Planet and Ocean Giants.
His tour will come to the following locations: Aros Centre in Skye on November 14; Craignish Village Hall, Argyll, November 16; The Sunart Centre, Strontian, November 17; Timespan in Helmsdale, November 18; Orkney Arts Theatre, November 19; Macphail Centre, Ullapool, November 20; Tarbert Community Centre, Harris, November 21; Ann Lanntair, Stornoway, November 22; Mareel Arts Centre, Shetlands, December 4.
