Lifeboat teams were called out at the weekend to rescue the crew of a sinking ship.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, the WD Mersey was carrying out dredging operations at Nigg in the Cromarty Firth when the vessel struck an object under the water.
Aberdeen Coastguard received the call and Invergordon Lifeboat was launched just before 7am.
Once they had arrived, they helped the two crew-members off the ship and used a salvage pump to help stop the water seeping on-board.
The dredger was then escorted back to Nigg Energy Park dock for an underwater inspection by divers.
Lifeboat teams stood down at around 11am.
