Stornoway Coastguard received the call at 8.38am and Oban Lifeboat went to the scene. The yacht, Skuto, has been left high and dry by the ebbing tide. A coastguard spokeswoman said: “The yacht has either been blown off its mooring or was on passage at the time. “Two Norwegians were onboard, their English isn’t that great so we are still trying to establish what happened. “They were very high and dry. They have been taken off and the lifeboat is still at the scene. “Members of the Oban coastguard team are with them keeping them warm and dry.”
