Emergency services are at the scene of the serious crash on the B9165, which links the village of Fearn to the A9 trunk road. Only one vehicle is involved in the crash, which happened at 4.20pm. Two crews from Invergordon, a community response unit from Balintore and the heavy rescue unit from Inverness were all sent to the scene. The woman was cut out of the vehicle by firefighters using cutting gear. A police spokesman said: “It looks to be quite serious but the woman is conscious and breathing.”
